Warranty & Return

Sun N Earth Solar warrants to the original consumer purchaser that the Sun N Earth product will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal consumer use during the applicable warranty period identified in the 'Warranty Period' section below, subject to the exclusions set forth below. This warranty statement sets forth Sun N Earths’ total and exclusive warranty obligation. We will not assume, nor authorize any person to assume for us, any other liability in connection with the sale of our products.

Warranty Period
The warranty period for Sun N Earth Solar products is 12 months from the date of purchase for minor parts and manufacturing faults. In addition, the Victron components are warranted by the manufacturer for 5 years, the Trina solar panels carry a manufacturer's warranty of 10 years to 80%, and the Pylontech batteries are warranted by the manufacturer for 7 years/6000cycles or 10 years/6000 cycles if registered. In each case, the warranty period is measured starting on the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser. The sales receipt from the first consumer purchase, a compliance certificate signed off by a licensed A-grade electrician on the completion of the installation, and other reasonable documentary proof of purchase is required in order to establish the start date of the warranty period. All warranties are exclusive of labour and shipping.

Exchange
Sun N Earth Solar will replace any product that fails to operate during the applicable warranty period due to defects in workmanship or material. A replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product.

Limited to Original Consumer Buyer
The warranty on Sun N Earth’s product is limited to the original consumer purchaser and is not transferable to any subsequent owner.

Exclusions
Sun N Earth’s warranty does not apply to products that have been misused, abused, modified, damaged by accident, and/or used for anything other than normal consumer use as authorized in Sun N Earth’s current product literature. Any attempt at repair by anyone other than an authorized facility voids the warranty.

Exchange Conditions
Please carefully read the conditions below. If conditions are not met, Sun N Earth Solar reserves the right to refuse the exchange. Please note that Sun N Earth Solar does not permit the return of, or offer exchanges for the following products:

  • A product that is custom configured or branded to your specifications.

  • A product purchased from a 3rd party retail partner.

How to Return an Item
To return an item, you'll need the sales receipt from the first consumer purchase, and a compliance certificate signed off by a licensed electrician on completion of installation. Customers are advised to keep their invoice from their electrician as supplementary proof that their system was reviewed.
*Note: Sun N Earth Solar will not accept returns without proof of a compliance certificate signed off by a licensed electrician.

Process for Returning Product

  1. In an email, briefly explain why you wish to return your Sun N Earth Solar product.

  2. Attach proof of initial sales receipt and compliance certification from your electrician.

  3. Include “Return” in the subject line, along with the items order number (found on the sales receipt)
